Be safe this Halloween!
- Cross the street at corners & watch for traffic.
- Decorate costumes with reflective tape and carry flashlights or glow sticks.
- Go with your child, or if your child is old enough to go unsupervised, stick to familiar areas.
- Use face paints & makeup instead of masks, which can obstruct vision.
- Go through the candy with your child to be sure it hasn’t been tampered with.
- Wear shoes that are comfortable & easy to walk in.
- Make sure costumes are short enough so that your child doesn’t trip.
- Take water – all that walking makes kids thirsty!
